What better time to develop a lineage connection than in the bewitching season of October. It is a time often associated with the spirit, ghosts, and those that have come before us. Whether you celebrate Halloween, Samhain, or Día de Muertos, we are entering a liminal time which can be powerful for these practices.

Reaching out for support from your kind and wise ancestors is powerful magic for matters of the heart and yoni. We carry with us not only our own imprint of love but also those of our ancestors. 

Did you know that there is a special moment in time where three generations of womxn exist in one body? Because female embryos develop all the eggs they will carry while in utero, you, your mother, and your grandmother all came together for a brief moment in time as your maternal grandmother was pregnant with your mother. Check out our IG to see what this looks like. The female body is an incredible container of medicine and wisdom, and calling upon this connection and your personal lineage can be a powerful tool for healing. 

Asking for support from your lineage, or something greater than yourself can help to normalize your lived experience. It can help you to understand and process your personal trauma. 

Let’s start by acknowledging that trauma is a loaded word in the healing world. Every human has their own relationship to it. Sometimes we refer to moments as big ‘T’ trauma-- like a divorce, an abuse, a death. Sometimes the little ‘t’ traumas, the everyday little things that affect your nervous system.
